Paper: Cutting Costs and Establishing an Affordable Program

Abstract: Cost is a defining metric for every program or project. However, in recent years as programs have stretched far beyond original projections, reducing costs has gained entirely new importance.

Biography: Mr. Bagnoli is the program manager of Derivative Fleet Support & Sustainment/C-40A at Boeing Defense Space & Security. Bagnolli’s team used pareto evaluation as part of its cost vs. removal/placement analysis, and adapted the approach to cost cutting from an internal focus to that of the end user. He will describe how these efforts were developed and implemented, as well as what was achieved.
