Abstract:

Want to have better assurance of meeting project and organizational objectives?

VUCA stands for volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity. Operational Excellence can be defined as sustainable improvement of key performance metrics through the application of a variety of principles, systems, and tools.
The effects of VUCA are seen in terms of increased project and organizational risk. Higher risk impacts Operational Excellence – the fulfillment of project and organizational objectives as specified in key performance metrics. Reducing risk in all project areas is the key to reducing VUCA. This talk explores the ways that project risk can be reduced to avoid the overruns, performance shortfalls and failures that impact Operational Excellence and an organization’s profit.
