Attendees will learn strategies for maximizing the value of project controls support to enhance project outcomes. Additionally, the session will explore the benefits of a career in the project controls industry as well as insights on how program and project managers can successfully pivot into this dynamic field. The presentation will conclude with an overview of the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International (AACEI) and its current regional initiatives, highlighting opportunities for professional growth and industry engagement.

Biography: Khaled Aziza is a construction claims consultant with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. His expertise and core competencies include forensic delay analysis, loss of productivity analysis, risk management, cost
analysis, earned value management, and claim management. His experience includes several types of projects, including heavy industrial petrochemicals, oil and gas projects, nuclear power generation plants, water and wastewater treatment plants, highway development, and infrastructure projects. Khaled is a Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP), an Earned Value Professional (EVP), and a Project Management Professional (PMP).
Khaled’s prior experience includes positions as Contracts Manager and Project Manager for an EPC Contractor, Contract Engineer, and Project Coordinator, Estimating and Technical Office Engineer of several petrochemicals and infrastructure projects in the Middle East and USA.
