This presentation will provide an overview of the diverse disciplines within project controls and the critical functions they serve. Attendees will learn strategies for maximizing the value of project controls support to enhance project outcomes. Additionally, the session will explore the benefits of a career in the project controls industry as well as insights on how program and project managers can successfully pivot into this dynamic field. The presentation will conclude with an overview of the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International (AACEI) and its current regional initiatives, highlighting opportunities for professional growth and industry engagement.
