Abstract: In this presentation, we will explore the comprehensive communication and engagement strategies employed during the University of Maryland’s (UMD) Campus Network refresh project. This large-scale IT initiative required meticulous planning, transparent communication, and active stakeholder engagement to ensure its success. We will delve into the methods used to keep all parties informed, manage expectations, and foster collaboration across the campus community.
Key aspects of the presentation will include identifying key stakeholders, developing a robust communication plan, and implementing best practices for continuous and transparent communication.
