T-Shirt Design Contest

For our 2025 Project Management Symposium, we plan to do another t-shirt giveaway so we are looking for a t-shirt design that Project Managers would love to wear.  Last year’s design was developed by our NextGenPM student club on campus.  View the 2024 Detailed Design.  This year we thought it would be fun to open up the opportunity for someone else to create the design.  We are excited to see what you submit!  

Here’s what you get if you create the winning design:

  • 2 FREE registrations to the 2025 Project Management Symposium on May 1-2, 2025
  • Special on stage recognition during the Symposium !
  • 10 FREE t-shirts for you and your friends
  • A social media spotlight on you and your winning t-shirt idea!

Design Details:

  1. The design must be on the front of the t-shirt.   View the 2024 design. 
  2. The wording “2025 Project Management Symposium” must be included in the front design somewhere.
  3. The University of Maryland Project Management Center for Excellence logo must be included as part of the front design. Download the logo (this link will open the image in a new window; right-click on the image and save the logo to your files). Last year, it was on the sleeve of the shirt, but this year, we want to incorporate it into the front design.
  4. The t-shirt will be Gildan 64000 Softstyle. Potential Colors for the t-shirt could be Black, Sports Gray, Graphite Heather, Dark Heather, Heather Red, or red.  When you submit your design, tell us what color you are suggesting with your design.  
  5. The design will be screen-printed in one color. Select one of the UMD Brand colors.  
  6. No foul language can be included as part of the design.

Submission:

  1. The design is due Monday, March 2, 2025.
  2. Submit a PDF file of the design to: kfrankle@umd.edu
  3. Include the following in the PDF file:
    • Name, email, and phone number
    • Shirt and ink color choice
    • Front T-shirt Design related to Project Management
      • Include “2025 Project Management Symposium”
      • Include the University of Maryland Project Management Center for Excellence logo
    • Any other details we need to know
