Abstract:
Organizations continue to struggle in this decade with creating a supportive culture that makes the best use of the dynamic mix of process, people, and technology. These three attributes of transformation continue to mature over time. In this presentation, the future view of transformation will be the intentional approach chosen to design the future organization, with the assumption being that these work cultures function well for organizations on the path of and embedded transformation in their DNA.
To execute this continual transformation work, the necessary muscle is excelling in delivering a way of working that is fluid, highly digital, and seamless in working across organizational boundaries. Sustaining future organizational excellence is built on the importance of innovation in the world of projects and the ways of creating experiences that matter. Future leaders will need to understand the importance of achieving integration across the execution landscape of prioritized projects within a portfolio.
Excelling in the future is built on a commitment to creating cultures that ensure the achievement of value from the consistent project practices within the portfolios of work across the organization. The language used by these future organizations and the leadership qualities required for this digital age will be closely explored.
