Topic Areas
The Project Management Center for Excellence at the University of Maryland invites potential speakers to submit an abstract for a presentation during our 2019 Project Management Symposium to be held on May 9-10, 2019 in College Park. Individuals and organizations are both eligible to submit abstracts of papers and/or presentations to be included in program sessions for the symposium by November 11, 2018. The papers and presentations that will be presented can be case studies, best practices and research findings. They will be on topics of interest to project managers, consulting engineers and architects, construction managers, policy and agency personnel, researchers or educators.

If your abstract is selected, you will be notified via e-mail. Below are the important deadlines for speakers for the 2019 Symposium.

| November 11, 2018 | Last day to submit your abstract |
| December 20, 2018 | Acceptance notifications released via e-mail |
| January 7, 2019 | Speaker acceptance deadline |
| February 4, 2019 | Registration deadline for all speakers |
| March 29, 2019 | Completed papers or case studies due, they can be emailed to:

Please note that all selected speakers will need to register for the two day symposium by February 7, 2019 at the speaker rate of $350 (fee will increase after April 1).
