Our Sponsors

The UMD Project Management Center for Excellence would like to thank our Symposium sponsors. Funding to develop and deliver the symposium each year comes from attendee registration and sponsorship fees.  After covering event expenses, any remaining funds are used to provide scholarships to students pursuing a degree in project management. As part of the registration process, any symposium attendee is also invited to donate funds specifically designated for scholarships if they choose.

University of Maryland Office of Advanced Engineering Education

In the A. James Clark School of Engineering we have created an Office of Advanced Engineering Education (OAEE) to encompass all of our practice-oriented graduate education programs, short courses, workshops, license reviews, etc. The primary emphasis of OAEE is the Professional Master of Engineering Program and the Graduate Certificate in Engineering Program. These programs provide working engineers and technical professionals with the opportunity to continue their education and training at one of the best engineering graduate schools in the nation.  Continued encouragement and support from Dr. Darryll J. Pines, Dean of the Clark School of Engineering, the department chairs, the full-time faculty, and the adjunct faculty, who bring special expertise and experience into the classroom, bodes well for the program to achieve its mission of providing technology-based knowledge to practicing engineers and scientists throughout the state.
