Abstract:
Promote a learning and working environment that is environmentally and socially conscious. Integrate sustainability into our operations, day-to-day practices, and into our built environment. Resiliency is a vital design criteria as communities face more frequent and intense natural hazards and threats from Mother Nature. Low lying coastal communities face a greater threat with rising sea levels and additional risk from storm surge and increase population pressures. What are we to do when the next disaster hits and lessons learned on how to stand up a disaster recovery program.
