Abstract: Coaching for Success will explore how to unlock a team’s potential and maximize their performance. Donna McCullough will lead participants in their journey to becoming a good coach. Using the Goal, Reality, Options, and Will (GROW) coaching model, participants will learn how to communicate positively, empower staff, and convey a clear vision to your team. In this course, she will discuss top qualities in good coaches such as being empathetic, maintaining integrity, and having awareness. This will be an enriching opportunity for participants to become better coaches.

Biography: Donna McCullough is a Partner and the Program Management Service Line Leader for IBM Global Business Services Public Sector. Since 2015, Donna has led a team of 250 Project Managers with responsibility for talent development, training, staffing, and PM support offerings. Donna has 25 years of experience working with federal clients to solve their toughest challenges and achieve their critical missions.
In June 2006, Donna started her career with IBM and spent three years leading a large-scale financial transformation effort at the Department of Energy. From 2009 – 2018, Donna supported the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in a variety of roles. As a Project Executive, Donna led the technology implementation for the Secure Flight program which conducts watch list matching for airline carriers to determine if passengers pose a threat to transportation. In 2012, Donna led the IT implementation of TSA Pre?™ which provides expedited screening at the airport for low-risk travelers. From 2014 – 2018, Donna served as the TSA Delivery Partner leading a portfolio of 25 projects.
Prior to joining IBM, Donna worked for Lockheed Martin Information Technology (LMIT) and supported the Department of Justice leading a transformation of the Amber Alert program. The program’s success was dramatically improved with the implementation of an integrated, collaborative system for sharing data across law enforcement agencies in real-time. Since the transformation in early 2006, over 1000 missing children have been found and reunited with their parents.
Donna graduated from James Madison University (JMU) in 1993 with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a concentration in Computer Information Systems. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and an IBM-certified Senior Complex Program Manager.
