Building an Award-Winning, Metrics-Based PMO – Kwame
Abstract:
This presentation will walk the audience through the 6-year journey of building the DC Water IT PMO from the ground up to winning the 2020 PMI PMO of the year award. I will share the successes, failures, lessons learned and best practices of building a PMO from the group up. I will share how we built metrics and data into everything we do and how we apply it to make critical decisions from ideation to benefits realization. I will also share some innovations and really cool projects that our PMO was able to successfully execute.
