Paper and Presentation: Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Strategies for Secure and Reliable Applications Development and Operations (DevSecOps)

Abstract: Modern information technology solutions are dominated by mobile and cloud-based solutions, as more solutions are migrated to the cloud to allow for mobile and remote work. These solutions must be architected, developed, controlled and managed to ensure data integrity, security and privacy in transaction processing, as required by several law mandates. This is why industry, government, academia, and private sector are in dire need of designing data governance programs, capable of measuring data quality and integrity for secure coding, quality assurance and operations transfer, from there the concept of DevSecOps.

Agile project management support the needs and particularities of DevSecOps projects, to meet the needs, and requirements for mobile and cloud-based transactions, processes, and services, while complying with multiple law mandates and data management standards. With the advent of the Internet of Things (IoT), distributed computing, and multimedia computing era, security issues are surfacing on a daily basis, resulting in the need to rethink information technology processing techniques and project planning, criteria that are paramount for effective IT project solution design, development, and secure implementation.
