Abstract:

The key to success on any disaster response program is the organization and information management utilized by project team. With a tremendous number of moving parts, this presentation will demonstrate how to use electronic work flows, electronic forms and automatic notifications to guide every step of a process. Using both good and bad examples from five Superstorm Sandy programs, this presentation will demonstrate how to effectively manage information in a high-volume process. These management information lessons are applicable to a variety of construction programs and projects as systems become more complicated and the demand on our management expertise increases.
