This paper and presentation will outline the process to create a Performance Dashboard in Microsoft’s PowerBI that will enable an organization to see their data in new ways. PowerBI lets you upload, model and create measures to help you explore your data with visualizations organized in reports and dashboards. This paper will outline the processes for creating a dashboard in the PowerBI application. It will cover how to:

  • Import and format data tables
  • Create a dashboard
  •  Create and format measures
  • Create and use data slicers
