Sebastian Schneider

Presentation: Creating a Sense for Career

Abstract: Leading leaders is easy, I was told when I took this job and the challenge to build an international project management chapter from scratch.  “Chapters are the best organizational form to bring together people with the same skills” you could hear me saying before going on that journey. Both turned out to be a nightmare and turned the last years into a roller coaster, even for an experienced leader.

Come along with me and listen to my story of how I hired (senior) project managers, who are skill seeking a definition for their career and how the chapter leadership team established clear career and growth paths for project managers, by putting the individual into the center of what we do and how we act. Learn how you can use some of the techniques sounding already familiar to you to develop your own people in your projects or departments.
