Abstract:

Emerging Technology and Project Management are two areas that play an importance role in grid modernization. This includes modernizing the distribution grid, executing innovative projects and operational readiness with a sustained focus on emerging work and existing critical areas such as distribution system planning, battery energy storage systems, microgrids and climate change.

As project managers, we are responsible for implementing highly visible initiatives/ projects that are complex in nature with a significant involvement with internal and external stakeholder engagement.

This presentation will explore how to execute emerging technology projects, engage stakeholders in the process, measure results, and demonstrate success with those types of complex projects.
