Presentation: Increasing Project Productivity with Remote Teams for All Project Sizes

Abstract: 36.2 million Americans are expected to be working remotely by 2025 which would be an 87% increase from the number of remote workers prior to the pandemic. In some business sectors, this trend will continue into the foreseeable future. Nevertheless, project managers are still expected to manage projects to on time, on budget completion, meeting all quality control standards. This presentation focuses on embracing the future trends of remote work and provide tips on creating a culture that embraces remote work. When implemented successfully, this new culture will impact projects of all sizes and types, increasing resource availability, productivity and collaboration while decreasing budget pressures.

Biography: Andre Rogers is the founder and CEO of E3Insights LLC which empowers businesses with project management and virtual C level expertise. E3Insights guides companies at key moments in their development to a platform of growth and sustainability.

Prior to launching E3Insights, Rogers was the CFO of Enlightened Inc., a $30 million IT services and consulting firm he co-founded. During his 20 year tenure there, his strategic direction steered Enlightened Inc. into a worldwide company with government and commercial clients, and 200 employees. Before becoming a business owner, Rogers leveraged his project management skills to complete software integration and data projects for the Department of Defense and the financial industry.

Andre Rogers has built a legacy of leadership beyond the businesses he leads. As chairperson of the Prince George’s Chamber of Commerce, he collaborated with the office of the Governor of Maryland to expand the number of small businesses. For 10 years, Rogers served on the Board of The George Washington University School of Business, as well as on Leadership Maryland’s board.

This year you can find Andre Rogers on Ted Talks’ TEDxUStreet. His 30 year career has been celebrated multiple times. Rogers is a two-time winner of SmartCEO’s Executive Management Award. MEA Magazine honored him with their Leadership & Excellence Award.

Andre Rogers earned his bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University; and a Master of Science degree from George Mason University in Computer Science. Rogers and his family remain active in their local community.
