Presentation: Agile Planning Considerations

Abstract: As programs transition to Agile development methodologies, many seem to be leaving some fundamental systems engineering management and planning best practices behind – and to their detriment. This presentation will discuss the enduring value of structured requirements decomposition, product roadmapping and release planning, supporting metrics to demonstrate performance, and discuss forecasting considerations while still remaining true to the Agile Manifesto and it’s Core Principles. This session is meant for project managers, schedulers, and program analysts.
