Abstract:

This engaging presentation will examine the impact that AI is having on projects and project management. Tim will explore PM in the age of AI starting with today’s world – examining factors like leadership and sponsorship, investment and portfolios, development of core project artifacts, complex project management, and PM and team competencies. Tim will dive into the rapid rise of AI and look at its impact across industries and on the workforce today. And he will offer up a examples of use cases where AI is driving new solutions.

Looking forward, the presentation will provide a roadmap into where AI is going Now, Near, and Far. Tim will present how the market for AI is evolving in three distinct segments and the challenges and risks of an AI implementation. The presentation will look at three types of project consumers of AI and the impact on project management. With minimal IT jargon, Tim will look at the evolving tech stack that AI is introducing and how the PMO’s can best deliver in an AI-forward organization. Finally, the presentation will offer up leadership guidance for project managers, sponsors and others. This presentation is applicable to both the private and public sector.
