Breakout Room #5

Abstract:

Product Management enables agile and hybrid approaches to realize their full potential. Through actively tackling risks early and engaging with the source of value (the customer) and the source of delivery (your business) we can rapidly define the parameters and key design constraints for our projects in their delivery phase. Product Management is changing how we think about projects and helps us align our efforts with our organization and the customer. Since 2015, there has been a move to improve agile and hybrid projects through better backlog definition, enough design upfront, providing enabling architecture, and ensuring a clear vision for the final deliverables. This gap in expertise on most projects are actually “product skills” and they are the most desired skills in Project Managers today according to EMSI Burning Glass.  Learn good practices and the new models of delivery that can reduce risk and increase value on projects across industries and domains in this short, impactful presentation on moving from project to product to improve projects and define better value delivery systems.
