The Art of Presenting Compelling Detailed Analysis – Erney

The last few years have emphasized the need for adaptation. This has required normally siloed titles of “consultant” or “data analysts” to expand their capabilities of facilitating conversations that were previously delegated to another entity. Specifically, consultants and project managers must adapt to presenting detailed data analysis to clients in a thoughtful and intuitive way that can clearly express the purpose of the data.

We will present key questions that must be asked when creating a presentation that involves detailed data analysis and potential options that can be incorporated into a presentation to ensure the audience understands the purpose, recognizes the implications of the data, and frankly, is not asleep.

The Latest in Schedule Visualization: The 3D Gantt – Leach

For the past five years, Steelray has been conducting research and development on technology to assist with schedule visualization, schedule change analysis, and forensic schedule delay analysis. In this presentation, Brian Leach of Steelray will discuss the challenges faced, obstacles encountered, and some of the remaining hurdles to be covered in their quest for a 3D Gantt Chart — a Gantt chart that lets you drag the data date forward and back in time while the Gantt Chart updates in real-time. The technology will be demonstrated to show how you can use it immediately for performance monitoring, change analysis, and delay analysis.
