YOUR T-shirt Design is Wanted

We’re creating the official t-shirt for the 2026 Project Management Symposium—and we want YOUR design!

Our goal is to create a shirt that Project Managers will be excited to wear long after the event. If you have a creative idea, this is your chance to showcase it.

Last year’s winning design was created by Gerson Morales from JJ Prime Services, and it was a huge hit. His creativity truly captured the spirit of the Symposium. (Take a look at the 2025 design and the 2024 Design)

We had so much fun inviting design submissions from our community that we’re bringing the opportunity back for 2026—and we can’t wait to see what you come up with.

Submit your design and be part of this year’s Symposium in a lasting way!

Here’s what you get if you create the winning design:

  • 2 FREE registrations to the 2026 Project Management Symposium on April 30 – May 1, 2026
  • Special on-stage recognition during the Symposium!
  • 10 FREE t-shirts for you and your friends
  • A social media spotlight on you and your winning t-shirt idea!

Design Details:

  1. The design must be on the front of the t-shirt. (Take a look at the 2025 design and the 2024 Design)
  2. The wording “2026 Project Management Symposium” must be included in the design.
  3. The University of Maryland Project Management Center for Excellence logo must be included as part of the design. Download the logo (this link will open the image in a new window; right-click on the image and save the logo to your files). 
  4. The t-shirt will be Gildan 64000 Softstyle. Potential Colors for the t-shirt could be Black, Sports Gray, Graphite Heather, Dark Heather, Heather Red, or red.  When you submit your design, tell us what color you are suggesting with your design.  
  5. The design will be screen-printed in one color. Select one of the UMD Brand colors.  
  6. No foul language can be included as part of the design.

Submission:

  1. The design is due Monday, March 23, 2026.
  2. Submit a PDF file of the design to: kfrankle@umd.edu
  3. Include the following in the PDF file:
    • Name, email, and phone number
    • Shirt and ink color choice
    • Front T-shirt Design related to Project Management
      • Include “2026 Project Management Symposium”
      • Include the University of Maryland Project Management Center for Excellence logo
    • Any other details we need to know
