PARKING
If you plan to drive to the symposium and park on campus, you will need to park in either Union Lane Garage (in any metered space) or Regents Drive Garage (on the roof). We have reserved parking spaces in both garages. A map of the two UMD parking garages is shown below. Please be sure to follow parking instructions provided by the parking attendants.

Another Parking Option – College Park Metro Station
Another option for parking is to park at the College Park metro station for $4.95 for the day. You can then take the Shuttle-UM from the metro to Adele H. Stamp Student Union. See below for more information from College Park Metro.
COLLEGE PARK METRO (Green Line) to Adele H. Stamp Student Union:
To get to Stamp Student Union from the College Park Metro you can take the Shuttle-UM bus 104 to Regents Drive Garage. Bus 104 Schedule and Map. You can either walk from Regents drive Garage to Stamp Student Union or take bus 105 one stop from Regents Drive Garage to Stamp Student Union. Bus 105 Schedule and Map. You can also use Uber or Lyft to take you directly to Stamp Student Union. If you decide to park at the metro station and take the bus to campus, the cost for parking at the metro is $4.95 for the day.
HOTEL
There are three hotels near campus.
- College Park Marriott Hotel and Conference Center at 3501 University Blvd E., College Park, MD 20783. Link to the Room Block. ($219 per night, two queens)
- The Hotel which is located at the corner of Baltimore Avenue and Campus Drive at 7777 Baltimore Avenue, College Park, MD 20740. Link to the Room Block. ($179 per night)
- Cambria Hotel at 8321 Baltimore Ave, College Park, MD 20740. Link to the Room Block ($149 per night)
- Crowne Plaza College Park at 6400 Ivy Ln, Greenbelt, MD 20770. Link to Make a Reservation ($84 per night/king. Not a room block. A UMD rate. Link does not expire)
LOCAL AIRPORTS
The best airports to fly into include: Washington National Airport (DCA) or Baltimore/Washington International (BWI). If you fly into DCA, you could take the metro to the College Park station (green line) and take an Uber/Lyft to your hotel (or take an Uber/Lyft from the airport). If you fly into BWI, you would need to either rent a car or take a taxi/shuttle/Uber/Lyft from the airport to the hotel. The Hotel does NOT provide a shuttle from BWI and there is no metro or train that would take you to College Park.
