PDU Completion Certificates
There are two types of PDU certificates available for the 2026 Project Management Symposium. You will need to complete the form(s) in order to receive a certificate(s). A PDF version of the completion certificate will be emailed to you. If you want credit for the PDUs from PMI, then YOU will need to enter each individual session you attended into PMI’s Continuing Certification Renewal System – see instructions below.

How to Claim Your PDUs:
To report PDUs, visit PMIs Continuing Certification Renewal System (CCRS).
You will need to login.
Next, you will click on “PDUs” on the navigation menu, then select “Report PDUs”.
Potential activities in which you participated are categorized by Education or Giving Back (in two columns).
LIVE Portion of Symposium
For the live portion of the 2026 Project Management Symposium, select the “Course or Training” button under the Education Category.
The information to enter is:
Provider: University of Maryland Project Management Center for Excellence
Course: (Enter the Name of the Session you Attended) from the 2026 Project Management Symposium
Date Started: Either April 30, 2026, or May 1, 2026
Date Completed: Either April 30, 2026, or May 1, 2026
URL: Use the URL of the session you attended
PDUs Claimed: 0.75 per session; there is one session on Friday Afternoon that counts for 1.5 PDUs. Be sure to indicate which PMI Talent Triangle category: Ways of Working, Power Skills, or Business Acumen.
Special Note: You will need to submit each session you attended separately on the PMI website; each session is worth 0.75 PDUs. Descriptions of each session, which are needed to submit, are found in the individual session pages.
Pre-event Virtual Workshops
For the pre-event virtual workshops, select the “Course or Training” button under the Education Category.
The information to enter is:
Provider: University of Maryland Project Management Center for Excellence
Course: (Enter the Name of the Workshop you Participated in) from the 2026 Project Management Symposium
Date Started: Type in the specific date of the virtual workshop
Date Completed: Type in the specific date of the virtual workshop
URL: Use the URL of the Workshop you attended
PDUs Claimed: Either 3 or 4 depending on the length of your workshop. Be sure to indicate which PMI Talent Triangle category: Ways of Working, Power Skills, or Business Acumen. That information is posted on the workshop information page.
Special Note: You will need to submit each workshop you attended separately on the PMI website. The description of each workshop, which are needed to submit, are found in the individual workshop description pages.
Recorded or On-Demand Sessions portion of the Project Management Symposium
For the recorded or On-Demand sessions portion of the 2026 Project Management Symposium, select the “Online or Digital Media” button under the Education Category.
The information to enter is:
Provider: University of Maryland Project Management Center for Excellence
Title: (Enter the Name of the Session you Reviewed) from the 2026 Project Management Symposium
Date Started: Enter the data needed
Date Completed: Enter the data needed
URL: Enter the URL of the session you reviewed
PDUs Claimed: 0.75 per session. Be sure to indicate which PMI Talent Triangle category: Ways of Working, Power Skills, or Business Acumen.
Please be sure to click the button right before submit that says, “I agree this claim is accurate.”
Once you hit the “Submit” button, you will receive a claim ID number.
